Northern Virginia Science Center Announces Dominion Energy as First Gallery Sponsor
The Northern Virginia Science Center Foundation is pleased to announce that Dominion Energy has become the first Title Partner and Gallery Sponsor for the Northern Virginia Science Center. The $1 million sponsorship brings the Launch the Future campaign to 91% of the funds needed for the $75 million project to create a world-class, interactive regional science center for families, students, and learners of all ages.
The Dominion Energy Gallery will be located immediately adjacent to the main entrance of the Science Center. The gallery will house “Flow,” a groundbreaking exhibition that takes guests on an amazing tour of science and natural phenomena expressed through motion and art. The signature exhibition is filled with immersive experiences that display the constant flow of matter, energy, and data. In addition to natural physicalphenomena and forces, mathematical principles will be visualized and made meaningful. Information and real-time data will flow through advanced immersive media technology. Experiences including a massives wirling vortex and a giant crashing wave, among many more virtual phenomena,will open guests’ eyes to unseen worlds, normally too abstract to experience directly.

Dominion Energy joins the list of leading public and private partners forthis project which includes the Commonwealth of Virginia, Loudoun County, Kincora,and the Lead Building Naming Sponsor, Northwest Federal Credit Union.
