The Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s (HHMI) Janelia Research Campus is dedicated to conducting groundbreaking scientific research that achieves significant and transformative results. Given this strong commitment, it was only fitting forJanelia to join the Northern Virginia Science Center’s Launch the Future Campaign to bring about a profound change in the region as an element partner.
In recognition of their support, the HHMI’s Janelia Research Campus will be honored on element number 20, Calcium (Ca), as part of the interactive periodic table of elements installation located in the entrance hall of the future Northern Virginia Science Center.
HHMI’s Janelia Research Campus joins more than 20 other element partners who have invested in the future of informal STEM education by helping make the Northern Virginia Science Center possible.
