Campaign Spotlight: Northwest Federal Credit Union
In December 2019, the Science Center celebrated a $10 million gift from Northwest Federal Credit Union as the lead building naming sponsor of Northern Virginia’s future science center. This transformative gift significantly bolstered the vision to create a world-class science center in Northern Virginia and was pivotal to initiating private fundraising.
Northwest Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Herndon, was chartered in 1947 and today has over 270,000 members and 550+ employees. Northwest Federal strives to provide great service and is dedicated to transforming the lives of its members and the communities through the “Transforming Lives Through Acts of We” community service initiative.
