A dynamic flexible-use theater for science demonstrations, animal encounters, and more.
The Habitat Theater will offer educational programming for guests of all ages, with space to accommodate 40-50 people. The theater features a Science on a Sphere® digital display, and there are thousands of data sets available to be projected on the sphere. This guided experience can be used to demonstrate complex science phenomena and activities on Earth such as atmospheric circulation, migratory patterns and weather events. The Sphere can be retracted into the ceiling, allowing flexible uses for the space to include science demonstrations, video presentations, animal encounters, and small group instruction.
The Habitat Theater is presented by Amazon. It will be located in the Habitat exhibition in the Bolos-Powell Family Gallery.
