Personally, Monopoly has always been reserved for lapses of extreme boredom, and consequently lead to exasperating rounds involving invention of unheard of financial tools (although in the economy today, Monopoly really should be keeping up with banking and lending regulation…). Nonetheless, Monopoly City Streets is some steps closer towards the muddy world of today. In fact, the board that players hop around on, consist of the very streets beneath you and me.
The game itself, from what is fathomable from various articles, does not significantly differ from our classic pastime. The objective of the game, however, promises something much more satisfying than buying out your siblings. Quoting the preview site: “Play to beat your friends and the world to become the richest property magnate in existence”! Now, doesn’t that sound exciting?
